Jim Mumm

Jim Mumm has a long and varied work experience. Jim started their career as the Director of Sales at Daymon Associates in 1994. Jim then worked as the National Sales Director at SARA LEE COFFEE & TEA HELLAS from 1997 to 2000. After that, they served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at News America Marketing from 1999 to 2001.

Jim went on to become the Vice President of Sales at Grocery Shopping Network from 2002 to 2004, where they successfully increased company revenue by 6 times in 18 months. Jim then joined MyWebGrocer as the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, where they focused on corporate marketing and sales to grocery chains in the US and Canada.

In 2006, Jim started their own company called 1st Wave Sales & Marketing, where they served as the CEO until 2011. Jim then became the CEO of Sandler Training serving Western Massachusetts from 2011 to 2013.

Jim'snext role was the Executive Vice President at Secure Energy Solutions from 2013 to 2016, where they managed a sales team and helped develop recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, and training programs.

Currently, Jim is working as the CEO of Sunlight Energy Group since 2016. Jim is an experienced energy strategist with over 33 years of experience managing and leading successful teams. Jim is also a certified Energy Procurement (CEP) professional and a trained Certified Energy Manager (CEM).

Jim Mumm completed their education at Baruch College. From 1999 to 2003, they pursued a BBA degree with a focus on Marketing, including International Marketing as their area of specialization. Following this, they pursued an EMBA degree in Executive Studies - Marketing from 2003 to 2005. Later, they obtained a Masters of Science degree in Business Computer Information Systems from Baruch College, completing it from 2005 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Jim has also obtained various certifications. In 2000, they completed the Karras Negotiation Course. Jim achieved the Bronze Level Sales and Leadership Trainer certification from Sandler Training in June 2011 and the President's Club certification from the same institution in June 2012. Furthermore, they acquired the Certified Energy Procurement (CEP) Professional certification in November 2017 and the Certified Energy Manager certification in October 2018.
