Tom Atkins is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in credit analysis and compliance. Currently serving as a Credit Analyst at Sunflower Bank, N.A. since April 2021, Tom previously held the role of Bank Secrecy Act Officer at American Airlines Federal Credit Union, where strategic direction of the BSA/AML/OFAC sanctions compliance program was paramount. Additional experience includes credit analysis at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and banking officer responsibilities at PNC Bank. Early career highlights include a Senior Bank Examiner position at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and a Vice President role focused on BSA/AML/Fraud Compliance at BB&T. Tom holds a Graduate Degree in Banking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance from The University of Southern Mississippi.
