Uwe Hermes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering, management, and real estate investment. Currently serving as an Automation Engineer at MEMC Electronic Materials since September 2012, Uwe Hermes oversees major projects focused on updating semiconductor production tools and developing modern control systems. As the President of Hermes Bros. LLC since April 2011, Uwe Hermes leads a real estate investment company specializing in rehabbing high-value properties, holding licenses as a Realtor(TM) and General Contractor. Previous roles include Director of International Services at CompView Medical, Product Manager at NDS Surgical Imaging, and Product Marketing Manager at Planar Systems, Inc., where Uwe Hermes managed product portfolios and identified market opportunities. Uwe Hermes holds an MBA in Management of Innovation and Technology and advanced degrees in Physics and Mathematics from Portland State University and the University of Konstanz.
