Stuart Buchanan is an experienced professional with a background in IT and system administration. Stuart has worked at various companies, including Sundown Solutions, Coca-Cola European Partners, Microsoft, Dell EMC, Dell, University of Reading, and Nestle. Stuart has held roles such as Chief Automation Officer, DevOps Technical Lead, System Center Consultant, Premier Field Engineer, Private Cloud Consultant, Monitoring Infrastructure Consultant, and Escalation Engineer. Their responsibilities have included overseeing system migrations, designing and automating processes, providing support and training to customers, and creating custom monitoring solutions. Stuart has a strong focus on security, efficiency, and innovation in their work.

Stuart Buchanan attended Oldershaw School from 1991 to 1992, where they studied English, Maths, Science, and Information Technology. In terms of additional certifications, Stuart obtained various certifications from different institutions, including ACSA 10.6 from Apple in 2011, Network +, Server +, and A+ from Comptia in 2003, MCSE from Microsoft in 2003, and most recently, the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate in October 2022.
