Sandy Martin is an experienced executive in the oil and gas industry with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Regional Execution at Suncor, Sandy has held multiple senior leadership roles at the company, including SVP In Situ and SVP Digital and Enterprise Technical. Prior to Suncor, Sandy was the Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Oil Sands Limited for a brief period in 2016. Additional leadership experience includes directorships at the Atlantic Provinces Economic Council and Petroleum Research, as well as asset management at ExxonMobil. Early career roles began at Imperial Oil, where Sandy progressed through various management positions from Operations Manager to Project Manager. Education includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Calgary.
