Hardik Thakore is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in plant engineering and instrumentation. Currently serving as the Team Lead for Plant Engineering at Suncor since September 2021, Hardik oversees a team focused on downstream distribution. Prior to this role, Hardik held various positions at Suncor Energy from September 2008 to September 2021, including Senior, Staff, and Lead Instrument Engineer, delivering expertise in reliability engineering, asset lifecycle management, and control systems. Hardik's career also includes leadership as an Analyzer Engineer at QAFCO, where responsibilities encompassed bid specifications for process analyzers and maintenance reliability, as well as a Deputy Manager position at Reliance Industries Limited, involved in the oversight of instrumentation design and testing for power plants. Hardik holds an MBA focused on Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control from Gujarat University.
