Brad Lamoureux is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and operations, currently serving as a Specialist Projects Advisor and Alpine+ Facilities Manager at Suncor since April 2018. Prior to this role, Brad held various positions at Imperial Oil from October 2011 to April 2018, including Utilities Coordinator/Chief Steam Engineer, where key contributions were made to the commissioning and startup of the Oil Sands Plant. Brad's earlier experience includes significant roles at TransAlta, where commissioning of a 500MW supercritical coal-fired generating station was successfully executed, and Syncrude Canada Ltd., where involvement in the UE-1 Expansion Project took place. Brad began a career in operations at Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc. during the commissioning of a major facility. Educationally, Brad holds a Level 2 Potable Water License and First Class Power Engineering certification from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, complemented by a High School Diploma from Edwin Parr Composite High School.
