Alexander Chernyshov is currently a Product Physicist at Sun Nuclear Corporation, where responsibilities include product definition, algorithm development, and feasibility studies for new technologies. Previously, as a Principal Scientist at Molex, Alexander developed automated sensor placement software for real-time gas emissions monitoring in chemical facilities. At Western Digital, Alexander led the development of FePt recording media and a method for measuring Curie temperature distribution in granular recording media. Alexander's academic background includes a PhD in Materials Science from Iowa State University and a Master's degree in Physics from Moscow State University, along with postdoctoral research focused on advanced magnetization control and quantum effects at Purdue University.
