Chika Abanobi is an accomplished editor with extensive experience in the Nigerian journalism industry. Currently serving as Associate Editor at Sun Newspapers since July 2010, Chika edits stories from correspondents across Nigeria and creates compelling headlines. In addition, Chika has been the Head of the Education Desk at Sun Newspapers since September 2006, focusing on generating news ideas for the Education Review and editing scripts for weekly education pages. Prior to this, Chika worked as a Senior Editor at Life Press Limited from April 1991 to October 2006, where editing of books and magazines was the primary responsibility. Chika's career began at Concord Press of Nigeria as a reporter and editor from April 1989 to April 1991. Chika holds a B.A. in Literature in English from Lagos State University and a Nigerian Certificate in Education from Alvan Ikoku College of Education.
