André Nogueira is a Senior Data Scientist at SumUp since October 2022, previously holding the position of Data Scientist at Estabanell, where André designed and deployed time series forecasting machine learning models and created dashboards for data visualization. With a Master's degree in Data Science from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a Master's degree in Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, André has a strong academic background complemented by significant industry experience. Prior roles include Product Development Engineer at Embraer, where André applied numerical methods for aircraft simulations and collaborated on model validation through data analysis, and Trainee at Chemtech, providing consulting on engineering projects for major industrial clients. André also holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, with an exchange program at the University of Applied Sciences Schmalkalden in Germany.
