John Massey has extensive experience in education and leadership, currently serving as an Assistant Principal at Sumner County Schools since August 2017. Prior to this role, John held various positions, including Assistant Principal at Selmer Elementary with the McNairy County Board of Education, and teacher/coach roles in multiple school districts. John's career also includes experience as an Insurance Agent at Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee and coaching roles at Lambuth University and Lipscomb University. Additionally, John has professional athletic experience as a player for the Arizona Diamondbacks. John Massey's educational qualifications include an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Union University, a Master of Education from Lipscomb University, and multiple bachelor's degrees in History and Education from the University of Mississippi and the University of Tennessee at Martin and Knoxville.
