Peter Somers has extensive experience in the healthcare staffing industry, currently serving as a Travel Nurse Advocate and Recruiter at Summit Medical Staffing since September 2021. Previously, Peter held the position of Travel Nurse Recruiter at Atlas MedStaff from October 2019 to August 2021. Before transitioning to the travel nurse sector, Peter was a stay-at-home parent from June 2012 to October 2019 and worked as a Science Teacher at Triton Public Schools from August 2005 to June 2012. Peter holds a Master's degree in Science Teaching from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Environmental Studies from St. Olaf College.
