Tammy Nigus has extensive work experience in various roles within the marketing and creative industry. Tammy started their career in 1994 as a Creative Coordinator at Pepper & Associates, where they worked until 2000. In 2000, they joined Summit Marketing as a VP Creative, a position they still hold. In the same year, Tammy also started their own business called Tcreates, where they served as the Owner until 2017. Tammy has also been actively involved as a Board Member at Friends of JCDS from 2007 to 2017, and as a volunteer for the Girl Scouts of the USA from 1998 to 2002.

Tammy Nigus holds a PDM degree in Direct Marketing, which they obtained from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2002-2003. Prior to that, they completed their BA degree in Journalism and Graphic Design from Kansas State University between 1982 and 1987.
