Kashif Tahir has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Kashif started in 1992 as a System Administrator at Sigma Circuits and then moved on to become an Information Systems Manager at McCurdy Circuits in 1995. In 1998, they joined KCA Electronics as an Information Technology Manager, where they stayed until 2016. From 2016 onwards, they worked at Summit Interconnect, initially as the Director of IT Infrastructure and later as the InfoSec Audit & Compliance Architect.

Kashif Tahir has a diverse education history. In 1993-1994, they attended Mt Sierra College and obtained a degree in Networking, focusing on Computer Information Technology. From 1990 to 1992, they pursued an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering at ITT Technical Institute. In 2000, they studied Communications at Glendale Community College, specializing in Communications and Problem Solving. Kashif also holds additional certifications, including Microsoft Windows (obtained in 1995) and Novell (obtained in 1994). Currently, they are enrolled in CompTIA to pursue a Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) degree.
