Dr. Tischer Catalin has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as Managing Director and CFO at Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze SE since February 2011, overseeing three plants with 7,500 employees and a turnover of approximately 250 million Euros. Responsibilities include management of all administrative activities, HR, IT, and financial controls. Previously, Dr. Tischer held the position of General Manager Manufacturing Controlling for Europe and North Africa, where the focus was on establishing standard reporting systems and overseeing financial performance across multiple subsidiaries. Prior experience at MAHLE involved roles as General Manager/Plant Manager and Technical Manager, emphasizing operational excellence and lean manufacturing. Dr. Tischer holds a Diplomă de Inginer from Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu and a Dr.Ing from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
