Kelly Mettler

Kelly Mettler has a diverse work experience across various industries. Starting in 2001, they worked as a Mechanic at Flat Creek Automotive. In 2002, they worked as a Seamstress at Sewing with Michelle. From 2005 to 2008, Kelly served as the Marketing Director at Ericksen, Arbuthnot, Kilduff, Day & Lindstrom, Inc. Kelly then worked as a Ballroom Dance Instructor at Bay West Ballroom from 2007 to 2009. From 2007 to 2011, Kelly worked as an Administrative Assistant at Posard Broek + Associates. In 2011, they served as an Engineering Administrator at Berkeley Bionics, Inc. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Quality Engineer & Project Associate at Ekso Bionics. Kelly then transitioned into a role as a Regulatory Affairs Manager at Ekso Bionics from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they moved to Convergent Laser Technologies and served as a Regulatory Affairs Manager. In 2018, they joined suitX as the Director of RA/QA and later became the VP of RA/QA in 2019. Most recently, in 2020, Kelly started working as an RA/QA Manager at NewGen Surgical Inc.

Kelly Mettler has completed coursework in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, and Computer Information Systems at the College of Marin. They have also taken coursework in Project Management at PMI. In terms of certifications, Kelly obtained certifications in HIPPA and Medical Devices from Medscape and the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) respectively, in November 2015. They also obtained certifications in ISO 13485 Lead Auditor (TPECS) and Quality System Regulation 21 CFR 820 from BSI Group ANZ Pty Ltd and FDA, respectively, in June 2013. Additionally, Kelly obtained a certification as a Swiftwater Rescue Technician in January 2011 and a Microsoft Office Specialist certification from the College of Marin in September 2010. Recently, they have obtained certifications in several areas related to biomedical research, including Biomedical Investigator, Biomedical Responsible Conduct of Research, Social and Behavioral Responsible Conduct of Research, and Clinical Trials - Responsible Conduct of Research from the CITI Program, with the most recent being obtained in March 2020. Lastly, Kelly obtained a certification in Heartsaver from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in April 1998.
