From 1988 to 2009, Frank Krotschinsky worked as a Senior Assistant County Attorney for Suffolk County. Frank then transitioned to become the Director of Suffolk County for People with Disabilities in 2009.

Frank Krotschinsky obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Stony Brook University, which they attended from 1976 to 1980. Frank then pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law at New York Law School, completing their education from 1980 to 1983.
