Daniel Carrodus started their career in 2010 as a student at Ex'pression College, where they studied Game Art and Design and gained knowledge in various aspects of game development. Following their education, they worked as a Quality Analyst at Visceral Games, focusing on games such as Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline, using the Frost Engine to identify and resolve bugs. In 2016, they joined Maxis as a Quality Analyst I, collaborating directly with the art team and handling mobile device assignments. Daniel continued in the same role at Maxis until 2019. In 2017, Carrodus joined Take Flight Optics as a Producer, and in 2020, they joined Sledgehammer Games as an Associate Outsource Integrator. Daniel progressed to the role of Sr. Associate Outsource Integrator at Sledgehammer Games in 2021 and subsequently joined Sucker Punch Productions in 2023 as an Associate Outsource Artist.
From 2010 to 2013, Daniel Carrodus attended Ex'pression College for Digital Arts, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Game Art and Design.
