Kati Anderson-Alarcon is currently serving as a School Library Media Specialist at Friendly Hills Middle School since August 2023 and has also worked as a Marketing Specialist and Office Coordinator at SUCCESS Computer Consulting since October 2021. Previous experience includes positions as Rentals and Events Coordinator and Events Assistant at Grout Museum District from January 2019 to May 2021, a Marketing and Communications Intern at Dental Connections from May 2020 to August 2020, and a Student Library Assistant at Rod Library, University of Northern Iowa from August 2017 to December 2018. Kati's early career included roles as a Sales Intern at Broken Arrow Custom T-Shirt Printing and a Guest Service Representative at Target. Educational credentials include pursuing a Master of Library & Information Science at Louisiana State University (2024-2025), obtaining a Publishing Certificate from the University of Denver (2021), and earning a degree in English and Communications, Writing and Editing from the University of Northern Iowa (2017-2021). Kati is a graduate of Johnston High School, completing a High School Diploma in 2017.
