Julien Caillaud is an experienced Project Engineering Manager at Subsea 7, specializing in high-profile projects such as King’s Quay & Calliope and Perdido Phase 3, with a strong focus on defining project execution strategies and ensuring successful delivery within budget constraints. Prior to this role, Julien served as Lead Installation Engineer overseeing the pipelay of significant projects aboard the “Seven Oceans.” With a solid background that includes positions as a Senior Subsea Installation Engineer and Marine Group Deputy Manager at TechnipFMC and Petrofac respectively, Julien has developed expertise in managing technical proposals and establishing new operational entities. Julien's early career includes experience as a Subsea Engineer and Marine Surveyor at Global Maritime and Noble Denton, where quality assurance and project management were primary responsibilities. Julien holds a Master of Science in Offshore & Ocean Technology from Cranfield University and a Master's degree in Marine Sciences & Ocean Engineering from the University of Toulon, France.
