Goenawan Permadi is an experienced professional in the field of journalism and digital media. Currently serving as the Deputy Editor in Chief at Suara Merdeka Newspaper, Goenawan has also held the position of General Manager for the Digital Division at Suara Merdeka Group since November 2016. Goenawan holds a Master of Arts degree in Political Communication from the University of Sheffield, UK, where studies were completed from 2001 to 2002.
