Emily Gransky has extensive work experience in the field of talent acquisition and operations. Emily currently holds the position of VP, Head of Recruiting at Stylus Medicine since October 2022, providing fractional support to a stealth NewCo. Prior to this, they worked as VP, Head of Recruiting at RA Capital Management, L.P. starting in April 2022. Emily also served as the Director of Talent Acquisition at Generation Bio from May 2021 to April 2022.

In their previous roles, they held the position of Director of Talent Acquisition and Operations at Flagship Pioneering from April 2019 to May 2021. Prior to that, Emily worked at bluebird bio where they held dual roles as the Associate Director of People Operations and Analytics from September 2018 to April 2019, and as the Associate Director, Head of Global Talent Acquisition from January 2017 to August 2018.

Before joining bluebird bio, Emily gained experience as the Head of People Operations at Barkly from August 2015 to January 2017. Emily has also served as the Head of People Strategy at Quanttus from January 2014 to April 2015.

Emily started their career in the field of recruiting at Lucas Group in May 2010 as an Executive Senior Partner and Executive Recruiter, focusing primarily on quantitative candidates in the consumer and commercial financial services space. Prior to Lucas Group, they held the position of Principal - Quantitative Recruiting at Smith Hanley Associates from April 2004 to May 2010. Emily's career started as a Product Specialist at Rogers Corporation in 2001.

Emily Gransky earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, during the period from 1996 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Python for Managers from Emeritus in March 2022.
