Martin H. Petrich is an experienced tourism professional with a strong focus on sustainable practices and education. Since December 2009, Martin has served as a Lecturer at Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, where responsibilities include organizing and leading excursions. In addition, Martin has been a Tourleader for Studiosus Reisen München since July 2012, with expertise in the Asian region, particularly South and Southeast Asia, Bhutan, and Japan. Martin's consultancy roles include working with mascontour GmbH since June 2020, where activities involve conducting guide trainings, developing educational materials, and fostering new tourism products. Previously, from September 2019 to March 2023, Martin contributed to the International Trade Centre as a Tourism Consultant, focusing on product development for Heritage Tourism in Southern Shan State. Martin holds a Diplom in Religion/Religionsstudien from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and has studied at Jnana-Deepa Vidyapeeth in Pune.
