Sarah Jane Shangraw is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in mindfulness and yoga instruction, serving as a Mindfulness Facilitator at studio BE since March 2020, while also mentoring students at the Insight Yoga Institute since January 2019. With over a decade of experience running Sarah Jane Shangraw Wellness, Sarah Jane teaches and shares meditation methods in various settings, including studios and corporate environments. A recognized Yoga Teacher E-RYT 500 and Continuing Education Provider with Yoga Alliance, Sarah Jane conducts workshops and private sessions focused on mindfulness. Prior to their current roles, Sarah Jane held several editorial positions, including Managing Editor at the American Meteorological Society and Editor-in-Chief at the Appalachian Mountain Club. Academic credentials include meditation studies at the Greater Good Science Center and Awareness Training Institute, a Master’s in Communications from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor’s in Religion from Boston University.
