Lutz Gaissmaier

Lutz Gaissmaier began their work experience in 2005 with a pre-university internship at DaimlerChrysler. From 2006 to 2007, they interned in the controlling department at Mercer and later worked as a student assistant there until 2006. In 2007, they also had an internship in the credit analysis department at DG HYP, where they became a student trainee in the credit analysis department from 2007 to 2009. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an intern in corporate banking at HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt. In 2011, they were a student trainee at Scheerer Consulting and an HR assistant at GBST. From 2011 to 2016, they served as an assistant to the Dean of Studies and also worked as a student assistant in Universität Hohenheim. In 2013, they began their role as a PhD student in business ethics at Universität Hohenheim, which continued until 2020. In 2015, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Studibuch GmbH and in 2019, they worked as a lecturer at Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart. Lutz Gaissmaier also worked as a visiting lecturer in marketing & management at Universität Hohenheim starting in 2018 and as a lecturer at Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart until 2020.

Lutz Gaissmaier has a diverse education history that spans several institutions and fields of study. Lutz began their education in 1995 at Dillmann Gymnasium, where they completed their Abitur degree in History in 2004. In 2005, they enrolled at the University of Hohenheim and pursued a Diploma in Management, Banking, and Ethics, which they completed in 2011. During their time at the University of Hohenheim, Lutz also undertook a semester abroad at UC Santa Barbara in 2009, focusing on Economics. In 2010, they attended The University of Queensland for a language course in General English. Lastly, in 2018, Lutz Gaissmaier continued their academic journey at The University of British Columbia, where they engaged in research and obtained a Research Doctorate in Business Ethics within the same year.
