Javier Gonzalez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in advanced operations and engineering management. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Advanced Operations at Stryker since March 2007, Javier leads a global team of over 100 engineers across multiple locations, successfully delivering more than 100 new products that have generated multi-billion-dollar revenue in various medical sectors. Previous roles include Director of Advanced Operations for Latin America Operations and Sr. Engineering Manager at Stryker, where Javier focused on design transfer, automation strategies, and continuous improvement methodologies. Before joining Stryker, Javier worked as a Product Engineering and Program Manager at Eberspaecher, directing engineering activities for automotive exhaust systems, and as a Mechanical Engineer at Visteon Corporation, where leadership in product design contributed to the successful launch of catalytic converter systems. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
