Ambrose Kanyaryeru has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ambrose is currently working as the Head of Global Partnerships at StrongMinds, where they lead the development of project designs and coordinates activities for the Partnership Technical Assistance Team. Prior to this, Ambrose worked as a Freelance Programme Development and Management Professional.
Ambrose also held various roles at Alight (formerly American Refugee Committee), including State Program Manager - East Sudan, Programs Coordinator, Grants Coordinator, and Area Coordinator. Ambrose also worked as a Community Development Facilitator and played a key role in community development, child sponsorship, and well-being. Additionally, they served as an Assessment and Design Facilitator, Psychosocial Facilitator, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Groups (IPT-G) Facilitator, where they focused on mental health support and capacity building.

Ambrose Kanyaryeru obtained their Bachelor's degree in Community Psychology from Makerere University during the period of 2001-2004. Ambrose pursued further education and completed their Masters in Development Studies from Uganda Martyrs University between 2008 and 2010.
