Michael Gilbert has a diverse work experience that spans from 2014 to the present. In 2014, they began as an Associate Sports Producer for Marquette TV (MUTV) at Marquette University. Michael then moved to 620 WTMJ Radio in 2015 as a Sports Radio Intern. In 2016, they worked at WISN-TV as a Sports Intern, at Cavalia as an Usher, and at WBKB-TV 11 as an Assistant News Director, Sports Director, and Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter. In 2018, they moved to Eyewitness News WEHT/WTVW as a Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter. In 2020, they began working at NAEGELI Deposition & Trial as a Media Coordinator. Michael is currently working at StrongDM as an Enterprise Business Development Representative and a Business Development Representative.

Michael Gilbert attended Jesuit High School Portland from 2008 to 2012, and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Digital Media from Marquette University from 2012 to 2016.
