Karen Cook, CPP, has over 20 years of accounting experience in the government contracting environment, currently serving as the Payroll and Accounts Payable Manager at Strongbridge LLC since February 2013. Karen manages the Payroll and Accounts Payable Departments, ensuring the reconciliation of general ledger accounts and collaborating with the CFO during audits. Previous positions include Payroll Manager at Metron, Inc., Payroll Specialist at NATEK Incorporated, and Payroll Supervisor at Advanced Technology Systems Corporation, among others. Karen holds a Certified Payroll Professional designation from George Mason University and has attended Northern Virginia Community College and Atlantic Cape Community College.
