Shannon Shakespeare is an experienced tax professional with a robust background in international tax planning and compliance. Since December 2019, Shannon has served as International Tax Counsel and Global Expansion Tax Lead at Stripe. Prior to this role, Shannon held the position of Senior Manager for International Tax Planning at Amazon from November 2015 to December 2019. Shannon's career began at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP as an Associate, followed by significant roles at PwC, including Director and Manager in International Tax Services. Shannon earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan and a law degree from Michigan State University College of Law.
