Marcela Piñeros has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of sales enablement and instructional design. Marcela is currently working as the Global Head of Sales Enablement at Stripe since February 2021. Prior to this, they were an Advisory Ecosystem Member at Value Advisory Ecosystem from January 2020.
From 2016 to 2021, Marcela held various positions at New Relic, Inc., including VP Global Enablement, Senior Director of Sales Enablement, and Director of New Hire Sales Enablement. Marcela also worked as a Senior Instructional Designer at New Relic from 2016 to 2017.
Before joining New Relic, Marcela worked as the Managing Principal at 11 Ideas Consulting from 2008 to 2018, where they designed innovative solutions for organizations across different industries. Marcela was also the Chief Learning Officer at DigitalSoul SAS from 2014 to 2016, where they spearheaded the design of an e-Learning platform.
Marcela's experience also includes roles at PulseLearning Global, Florida Power & Light, Guthier Enterprises, Florida Virtual School, and the University of Florida. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in instructional design, project management, training, and leadership development.
Marcela Piñeros has a diverse education history. In 1999, they began their undergraduate studies at Florida International University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education, History, and Women's Studies. This program lasted until 2002. In 2010, Marcela obtained a certificate in Advanced Instructional Design for E-Learning from the American Society for Training and Development. Marcela later completed an Advanced Certificate in Designing Powerful E-Learning from the Training Institute in 2012. In 2015, Marcela attended The George Washington University and received an Advanced Certificate in Storytelling in the Digital Age, focusing on Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia. Additionally, Marcela has obtained various certifications including the Fundamentals Certification from Stripe in 2023, The Future of Payment Technologies from Coursera in 2022, the CLO Accelerator from Chief Learning Officer in 2021, and the Preventing Workplace Harassment certification from New Relic, Inc.
