Karan Sharma has extensive experience in product management and software engineering, currently serving as Product Lead for Applied ML at Stripe since May 2018. In this role, Karan oversees the development of innovative products including Stripe Accounts and Stripe Crypto. Previously, Karan transitioned from software engineering to product management, where responsibilities included enhancing core API surfaces and developing new products for Stripe. Earlier experience includes software engineering roles at Wealthfront Inc., where Karan contributed to the brokerage and banking platform, and internships at WhatsApp Inc. and Google, focusing on web and email applications. Karan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
