Jim Rollenhagen is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in observability and systems architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Stripe since May 2022, Jim previously held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Okta, where leadership of the Advanced Server Access core team was key, along with the design of a scalable infrastructure. Prior roles include Senior Principal Software Engineer at Verizon Media, where Jim led technical direction for OpenStack, and contributions to the OpenStack Technical Committee. Jim's career spans several companies, including FarmLogs, Rackspace, ZeroCater, drchrono, General Motors, and Applebee's, showcasing a strong background in full-stack development, project leadership, and innovative engineering solutions. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Kettering University.
