Ana-Maria Mocanu has extensive experience in data science and economics, currently serving in a role focused on Growth Data Science and Machine Learning at Stripe since September 2019. Previous positions include Senior Manager and Manager roles at Amazon, where Ana-Maria built the Topline Forecast team and developed forecasting models for worldwide business operations. Ana-Maria's academic background includes a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan, complemented by a B.A. in Computer Science and Fine Arts from Amherst College. Early career experiences include roles at Morgan Stanley as an Analyst and research positions at the University of Michigan and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
