Dugald Stewart has worked in various roles in the operations and business fields since 1979. Dugald started their career at KLA Instruments as the Director of Operations, where they recruited and hired a team to manage the product introduction of complex electro-optical automated inspection equipment and wafer prober optical alignment systems. Dugald then moved to Quickturn Design Systems in 1989 as the Vice President of Operations. In 1999, they joined Cadence Design Systems as Vice President of Field Operations, Cadence Verification Acceleration, where they managed an engineering team focused on supporting customers, developing chip verification processes, and developing standard hardware products used in Cadence’s in-circuit emulators and accelerators. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Principal at Operations and Business Consulting. During this time, they also worked at GDCA, Inc. as Operations, Customer Support, and Sales. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Stringr as Operations and Business Analytics, and then at TeleSense as Operations and Manufacturing.

Dugald Stewart attended Stanford University and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
