Rachel Koonsman has a diverse work experience, spanning across various industries. Rachel started their career at Swoozies, Inc as a Sales Representative, where they assisted clients in planning parties, managed inventory, and worked on marketing and floor layouts. Rachel then worked at Cowboy Toyota as a Cashier's Assistant. Rachel also served as a Summer Camp Counselor at Camp Ozark before joining The Dovetail Companies as a Leasing Agent, where they conducted property tours and assisted clients with leasing paperwork.
In 2012, Rachel took on a leadership role as the President of the Delta Mu chapter of Delta Delta Delta, managing the responsibilities of 307 women and serving as the liaison between the chapter and Nationals Board. Rachel also worked as a Fundraising Director for the Up til' Dawn Executive Board at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where they contacted organizations and organized fundraising events.
Rachel later joined Northwestern Mutual as an Analyst Intern and Interstate Batteries as a Marketing Specialist. At Interstate Batteries, they also served as a Culture and Development Ambassador, focusing on fostering a positive work culture.
Most recently, Rachel has been with StreetLights Residential, starting as an Employee Engagement Manager before being promoted to Director of Employee Engagement and then Vice President of Engagement. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President of Culture, where they are responsible for creating a positive work culture within the company.
Rachel Koonsman completed their Bachelor's Degree in Management and Marketing at The University of Alabama, from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Highland Park High School from 2005 to 2009, although the specific degree and field of study at the high school level are unknown. In addition to their formal education, Rachel obtained the certification of Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in February 2022.
