Chris Pleger currently serves as the Lead Critical Engineering Technician at Stream Data Centers, focusing on a new Hyperscale facility in Elk Grove Village since February 2022. Previously, Chris held the position of Chief Engineer at CBRE from January 2016 to February 2022, managing critical data center systems for both CyrusOne and AT&T accounts, which included maintaining and upgrading Medium Voltage Switchgear, Electrical Systems, DDC systems, and HVAC systems. Chris also operated and maintained a 100,000 square foot data center and oversaw contractors while collaborating with design teams on equipment specifications. Prior to CBRE, Chris worked at Johnson Controls in a similar capacity and initially served as a Building Engineer and Apprentice Engineer at Hamilton Partners from August 2004 to January 2007.
