Gillian Benjamin is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in product and UX design. Currently serving as a Senior Product Designer II at Strava since April 2022, Gillian is also a Founding Member of San Diego Tech Hub. Previous roles include Lead Designer and Senior UX Designer at Walmart Global Tech, where responsibilities encompassed leading design initiatives and conducting UX workshops. Gillian's career began at SproutLoud Media Networks, advancing from Junior Web Designer to UI Design System Architect, focusing on design consistency and creating prototypes. Additional experience includes illustrating curricula for Time4Learning.com and participating in web design projects during time as a Student Web Designer at The Art Institute. Gillian holds a Bachelor's degree in Web Design and Interactive Media from The Art Institutes.
