Michael Scheu

Michael Scheu has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Michael started their career as an Associate Brand Manager at The Clorox Company in 1998, where they worked for two years. Following this, they served as the Director of Marketing at WetFeet, a recruitment marketing startup backed by Mohr Davidow Ventures, for two years. Michael then joined Odwalla as a Brand Manager in 2002 and successfully led the development and implementation of marketing plans, achieving significant sales growth. In 2004, Michael became the Brand Manager at Haagen Dazs, where they managed the all-natural ice cream franchise's product lines and drove revenue growth. From 2006 to 2008, they served as the Senior Brand Manager for the Dreyer's/Edy's Brand at Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, where they turned around declining sales and improved profitability. In 2009, they joined Nestlé as the Director of Shopper Marketing for the Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream Division, where they successfully drove incremental sales and developed effective marketing strategies. Michael continued their role in Nestle S.A. in 2013, where they were promoted to Director of Shopper Marketing for the Nestle Sales Division, leading a team of shopper marketers and working closely with the executive leadership to enhance business capabilities. In 2014, Michael took on the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Straus Family Creamery and became a Trustee at Grace Cathedral. Currently, they are a Board Member at Naturally North Bay (formerly the North Bay Food Industry Group/FIG).

Michael Scheu has an MBA degree from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. During their time at Kellogg, they specialized in Marketing, Management & Strategy, and Organizational Behavior. Prior to their MBA, Michael obtained a BBA degree from William & Mary, where they focused on the fields of English and Accounting.
