Paula Elrod

Paula Elrod has over 28 years of work experience in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on fundraising and data management. Paula currently works as a Project Manager at StratusLIVE, starting in 2023. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2023, Paula served as the Director of Donor Data & Research at United Way of Greenville County. In this role, they oversaw the Data Department and implemented tools and technology to enhance the organization's use of business intelligence and data analytics.

Before joining United Way of Greenville County, Paula held various positions at the same organization starting in 2001. These included Director of Resource Development - Technology and Special Projects, where they managed online workplace campaigns and led the technology and database teams. Additionally, Paula served as the Senior Campaign Manager, where they developed and directed various fundraising areas and cultivated relationships with donors.

Prior to United Way of Greenville County, Paula worked at Trident United Way as the Director of Leadership Giving and Campaign Division Director from 1997 to 2001. In this role, they marketed and expanded a leadership program aimed at securing annual gifts of $1,000 or more and managed donor tracking and cultivation systems.

Paula's career in the nonprofit sector began at Greater Rock Hill United Way, where they worked as a Campaign Director from 1995 to 1997. Their responsibilities included planning and implementing programs to increase awareness and contributions, as well as managing and motivating a team of volunteers.

Paula Elrod attended Winthrop University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication.
