Matt Heffernan started their work experience in 2002 at Zel Technologies as a Sr. Software Engineer. Matt worked there until 2010. In 2004, they became the President of E2 Software. In 2010, they joined TEKsystems as a Sr. Software Engineer and worked there until 2011. Currently, they are employed as a Sr. Software Engineer at StratusLive, starting in 2021.

Matt Heffernan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Old Dominion University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002.
