Tor-Inge Wold has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically in the field of laboratory analysis. Tor-Inge began their career with Geolab Nor AS in 1999 as a Laboratory Technician, where they worked until 2001. Tor-Inge then joined Weatherford Laboratories in 2004, initially as a Laboratory Engineer until 2011, and subsequently as a Project Manager until 2019. In 2019, Wold joined Stratum Reservoir as a Senior Engineer in Special Core Analysis, where they continue to work currently. Their roles have primarily focused on laboratory analysis and project management within the oil and gas sector.

Tor-Inge Wold attended Sofienberg tekniske fagskole from 1995 to 1997, where they earned their high school diploma in Chemical Technology/Technician. Tor-Inge then pursued further education at Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST) from 2001 to 2004, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
