Samuel Spånberger

Head of Product Design | Smart digital tools for work-life simplicity! at Stratsys

Samuel Spånberger has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Samuel started their career as a Usability Engineer and Concept Creator at Frontyard eHem AB in 2000. Samuel then joined Somfy in 2002, where they served as a Usability Manager and later became the Design Manager for the Commercial Building Solutions (CBS) business unit. At Somfy, Samuel led an agile software development team called GoSoft and was responsible for designing and implementing user experience (UX) and user interfaces (UI) for their products and services.

In 2013, Samuel joined CONSAT as a Technical Project Manager and Senior Interaction Designer. Samuel also worked as an Agile Coach and Lead UX Designer via CONSAT for Etraveli, where they managed the UX team and led the creative process for the development of the e-commerce platform.

In 2016, Samuel transitioned to Zimpler, a startup, as a Product Owner User Experience. Samuel gained valuable experience in working with data-driven approaches, conducting A/B and multivariate tests.

Since 2017, Samuel has been associated with Stratsys, initially joining as a Lead UX & Agile Coach and then progressing to the role of Agile Coach & UX Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Product Design, overseeing the development of smart digital tools for work-life simplicity.

Throughout their career, Samuel has consistently demonstrated their expertise in user experience design, agile methodology, and team leadership.

Samuel Spånberger obtained a Master of Social science in Informatics with a focus on Information Technology Project Management from Mid Sweden University. Samuel studied at this university from 1996 to 2000. Later, in 2011, they attended Berghs School of Communication and completed an Executive program in Design Management. In addition to their education, Samuel holds a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance.
