Jonathan Palacios-Avila has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an Economic Development Intern at the City of Ontario in 2013. In the same year, they also co-founded StratosFuel, Inc., where they initially served as the Chief Executive Officer. At StratosFuel, Jonathan was responsible for developing relations with partners, engineering and design work for hydrogen stations, determining hydrogen pathways, and collaborating with others in the alternative fuel sector.

In 2021, Jonathan took on the role of Co-Founder/VP of Marketing & Research at StratosFuel, where their responsibilities include furthering the development of a hydrogen infrastructure. Jonathan is currently involved in building a new fueling infrastructure that prioritizes environmental sustainability. Additionally, from 2011 to 2012, Jonathan served as the Natural and Social Science Representative on the Board of Directors at California State University, Los Angeles. In this role, they represented the constituents of the NSS college, bridging gaps between administrators and students, organizing events, and formulating initiatives to preserve classes.

From 2007 to 2012, Jonathan Palacios-Avila attended California State University, Los Angeles. Jonathan pursued a Bachelor's degree during this period, with a focus on Biochemistry and Public Administration.
