Nathan Byrd is a seasoned aerospace professional with extensive experience in propulsion test engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Propulsion Test Engineer at Stratolaunch since April 2023, Nathan previously held a similar position at Virgin Orbit from March 2021 to March 2023, where responsibilities included leading NS2-B test stand operations and managing the RP-1 system. Nathan's earlier experience includes roles at SpaceX from October 2012 to July 2018, where responsibilities encompassed manufacturing engineering and leading test technician operations for aerospace components. Nathan's career began as a Qualification Test Technician at Parker Aerospace from October 2011 to October 2012. Nathan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
