Edward Delaney has over 30 years of IT experience. Previously, they worked as Senior Architect at Ellucian from 2019 to present. Prior to that, they held various positions at Stratice Healthcare, including Chief Solutions Architect and Senior Software Engineer, from 2015 to 2019. From 1998 to 2015, they worked at Ellucian as Senior Advisory Software Engineer. Before that, they worked as Adjunct Faculty at Indiana Vocational Technical College from 1999 to 2001. Edward also served as Director of Administrative Systems at Earlham College from 1991 to 1998, where they implemented a new administrative software system involving every college office over a 3-year timeframe with a small staff and limited budget. Earlier in their career, they worked as IT Manager at Richmond Power and Light from 1988 to 1991 where they instituted a complete data center modernization program and completed all aspects of software design, programming, testing, and conversion in less than two years with one other programmer.

Edward Delaney's education history begins in 1976 when they attended Earlham College. Edward spent four years there studying biology but did not earn a degree. In 1980, Edward enrolled at The Evergreen State College and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1982.
