Elsa Ojeda started their work experience in 2015 as a Production Accountant at Husky Energy, where they worked until December 2020. In January 2021, they joined Cenovus Energy in the same role and worked there until May 2023. Currently, Elsa is employed at Strathcona Resources Ltd. as a Senior Production and Revenue Accountant, starting in May 2023.

Elsa Ojeda attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained a CAPPA Certificate. The field of study for their certificate is not specified.
