Abe Chang is an experienced System Analyst at Strathcona County since August 2009, specializing in business application support, procurement processes, and system life cycling. Prior to this, Abe held several roles at The City of Calgary, including Management System Analyst, where a team was led to develop an application development framework based on Service Oriented Architecture principles. Additional roles included Development Product Analyst and Senior Programmer, focusing on .Net architecture, reusable components, and the maintenance of GIS and CAD programs. Earlier experience includes positions as Database Development Coordinator at Northwestern Ontario Technology Centre, Programmer Analyst at Syncrude Canada Ltd., and Interoperational Verification Specialist at Nortel Networks. Abe holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Lakehead University, completed in 2001.
