Mr. Davis has over thirty-five years of energy related experience, including twenty-one years at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and seven years as Director of the Vehicle Technologies Office (VTO) where he led DOE's R&D in electric vehicle drivetrains, advanced batteries, lightweight materials, advanced combustion and fuels, vehicle systems integration, and Clean Cities deployment activities. Mr. Davis was responsible for two major government and industry partnerships: the U.S. DRIVE Partnership and the 21st Century Truck Partnership, and also led the SuperTruck Program, EV Everywhere and the Workplace Charging Challenges. Prior to DOE he served for eleven years at the Naval Surface Warfare Center focusing on battery technology. Mr. Davis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
