Hiro Sakiyama has a wealth of experience in the business and healthcare industries. Hiro began their career in 2005 as Manager of Finance and Operations for the Chicago Loop Alliance, where they prepared and administered a $2+ million budget and wrote a grant proposal that received $50,000 in funding from the State of Illinois' Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. In 2009, they worked as a Management Field Consulting Experience for Fidelity Charitable Services. From 2010 to 2011, they were a CHA/Babson Fellow at Cambridge Health Alliance, where they interviewed and accompanied patients during appointments and identified numerous themes from patient narratives. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Senior Project Associate and then a Business Analyst at athenahealth, where they were responsible for implementing athenahealth products and led successful implementations with clients ranging from small to large groups. Finally, from 2014 to the present, they have been a Senior Business Analyst at Strategic Solutions Group (SSG).
Hiro Sakiyama attended Shimer College from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Social Sciences. Hiro then attended Babson College - Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained an MBA in Technology Intensive Enterprises (MTIE) and Global Management.
